◾THINC Lab welcomes Dr. Lai-Tze Fan of The University of Waterloo for a Digicafé talk titled “Gendered by Design: Uncovering a Material History of Women in Technocapitalism”

◾The Juried Art Show, in its 55th incarnation – the oldest student-run show in Canada –  will take over Zavitz Hall ,March 17-19.

The Juried Art Show Awards will be presented at the Art Gallery of Guelph, Friday 17th at 7 pm.

◾Join us for an art-filled day in Guelph with MFA Open Studios and the 2023 Dasha Shenkman Lecture in Contemporary Art featuring Maureen Paley! 

Maureen Paley is a pioneer of the contemporary art scene, promoting and showcasing a diverse range of artists, such as Wolfgang Tillmans and Gillian Wearing, who she is credited with discovering. Founded in 1984, Paley has developed the gallery into a leading contemporary program that now represents 48 international artists. 

To complement the lecture, Masters of Fine Arts candidates in the University of Guelph Studio Art program will host Open Studios, allowing the community to tour studios and become acquainted with this dynamic, unique program and its award-winning students.
